I don’t think sorg or any of the mister project developers are heroes or villains. I have many many complaints with the project and sorg, kitrinx, etc. but you regularly engage in such bad faith trolling, and I find that frustrating and sorta disgusting.

These are both very simple to understand. Official in this case means the memory tester core included in the mister repos, official capacity means capacities of SDRAM actually used by the framework and cores.

None of your nonsense suggests you can't design your own RAM. Only that it won't be officially supported. That's called having standards. Perhaps a new concept for you.

You can do MANY MANY things, that at the end of the day will be labeled as "not MiSTer", including your DIY ram, that you are "free to make". We all know you are free to return your DE10-nano and free to buy an @analogue device too. It is free choice city over here in retro land!
