oh Allie, you "dumbass"! Ya realize you aren't supposed to feed trolls, right? Step back, analyze the discussion a bit deeper, you'll eventually get it. Or you won't & you'll keep defending people as being heroes, when they are actually closet villains with an "official" agenda.

I don’t think sorg or any of the mister project developers are heroes or villains. I have many many complaints with the project and sorg, kitrinx, etc. but you regularly engage in such bad faith trolling, and I find that frustrating and sorta disgusting.

why is there for example an "official memory tester"? Seems to imply there is an unofficial one? Where does the faith in that regard come from? Certainly it is bad faith to put out that things have to be in an "official" capacity eh?pic.twitter.com/QuEEUk4VVz

These are both very simple to understand. Official in this case means the memory tester core included in the mister repos, official capacity means capacities of SDRAM actually used by the framework and cores.

So you actually are NOT "free to design" as this chap mentioned. If we are being pedantic there are some "official" parameters on RAM used by the project. https://twitter.com/pz9000/status/1393935588152184834 …

None of your nonsense suggests you can't design your own RAM. Only that it won't be officially supported. That's called having standards. Perhaps a new concept for you.

LOL dude you just came full circle. Completely, and said literally exactly what we've been saying. You are welcome to go buy a
@Raspberry_Pi and weld it to the top of your MiSTer for all anyone cares, but it won't be "officially supported" any more than your DIY RAM.#Standards1 resposta 0 retuits A 0 els agrada -
I see no need to meld an MT32-Pi to my MiSTer but I suppose that's an option.

once again, we come FULL circle. I see no need to get a new "normal TV", or a "good TV", but I suppose that's an option, just as much as learning VHDL, and or porting to your own hardware! You are free to do all these things! That is the beauty of
#MiSTerFPGA!pic.twitter.com/K3EDlsB7Z3

Yes those are your options. Take it or leave it. Nobody is required to implement your ideal wishlist. Go bitch at analogue and their vaunted customer support for features MiSTer is unable to provide. Let me know how it goes.

You are free to do that on your own mate. You let us know how it goes. Bitching about @analogue is the #MiSTerFPGA community schtick, not ours. lol. You do you.

You're the one bitching about a "product" not doing what you want it to and expecting it to be done for free. Go ask a reputable company to take your money and do it if it bothers you.
