Dumbass, you can literally just order the parts yourself, and make them without giving Sorg any money. He uploaded the PCB files to GitHub. You can also buy a preassembled board off eBay, AliExpress, etc. they don’t give money to sorg. https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/wiki/SDRAM-Board-Assembly-(DIY) …

oh Allie, you "dumbass"! Ya realize you aren't supposed to feed trolls, right? Step back, analyze the discussion a bit deeper, you'll eventually get it. Or you won't & you'll keep defending people as being heroes, when they are actually closet villains with an "official" agenda.

I don’t think sorg or any of the mister project developers are heroes or villains. I have many many complaints with the project and sorg, kitrinx, etc. but you regularly engage in such bad faith trolling, and I find that frustrating and sorta disgusting.

why is there for example an "official memory tester"? Seems to imply there is an unofficial one? Where does the faith in that regard come from? Certainly it is bad faith to put out that things have to be in an "official" capacity eh?pic.twitter.com/QuEEUk4VVz

These are both very simple to understand. Official in this case means the memory tester core included in the mister repos, official capacity means capacities of SDRAM actually used by the framework and cores.

So you actually are NOT "free to design" as this chap mentioned. If we are being pedantic there are some "official" parameters on RAM used by the project. https://twitter.com/pz9000/status/1393935588152184834 …

None of your nonsense suggests you can't design your own RAM. Only that it won't be officially supported. That's called having standards. Perhaps a new concept for you.

You can do MANY MANY things, that at the end of the day will be labeled as "not MiSTer", including your DIY ram, that you are "free to make". We all know you are free to return your DE10-nano and free to buy an
@analogue device too. It is free choice city over here in retro land!1 resposta 0 retuits A 0 els agrada -

the reason people still follow you just to argue is because you genuinely convince idiots like @magelocc to believe this garbage
