I don’t think sorg or any of the mister project developers are heroes or villains. I have many many complaints with the project and sorg, kitrinx, etc. but you regularly engage in such bad faith trolling, and I find that frustrating and sorta disgusting.
Sure you can. Ship now, patch later has been a thing for decades. Look at ANY modern video game. It would have been trivial to ship the header out to end users. Also hard to classify WHY folks bought it, I suspect they saw the price and fell all over.https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2021/05/16/cyberpunk-2077-at-5-months-few-additions-no-playstation-store-restoration/ …

just because ship now fix later is a thing, doesn’t mean it’s a good thing. especially when fix later means requiring users who likely don’t know how to solder, to solder. If you advertise something as an IO Board 6.1, it should actually follow the entire schematic and BOM.

We've gone over those semantics before and we get it. Over all it is a stretch. Having sold hardware, done fab house runs, supported 100's of thousands of boards deployed. We get it. It happens. It STILL follows entire schematic, reality is it was a minor thing.
