If you dig deeper, it was actually what appears to be an accidental left out header. Quite literally a 15 cent fix. Nothing is actually broken. It doesn’t matter how small the fix is, if you’re still shipping it to end users. You can’t expect them to fix it themselves, that’s why they bought a board preassembled. I don’t think anyone cares much so long as the seller updated their board and included the header.
