      They are right, the 6.0 IO board has specific specs, you can't call something a 6.0 MiSTer IO board and go off specs. That's what those chinese knockoff manufacturers did, it's disingenuous at best, blatant scamming at worse.

      Missing a header isn’t an altered spec... if the design is wrong that’s different. SNAC is the bastard child of the project. Are there other issues?

      They are selling a 5.1 board labelled as a 6.0 board. Enough said.

      I've not seen anyone prove that beyond simply claiming the pins were missing. I've not seen a schematic comparison showing them intentionally mislabeling a 5.1 board as 6.0. Please feel free to correct me. THAT is a legit issue IF proven.

      That's what I gathered from all this, I could be wrong though. That said, the BOM for the 6.0 board does include the pin header, so they are indeed off specs either way.

          The BOM is the BOM, if a manufacturer botches that, it's subpar compared to others that do not.

          And sure, anyone can solder a pin header, assuming you have one on hand and beginner soldering skills. As a customer though I like buying things that work out of the box, unless it's a DIY kit.
