      They are right, the 6.0 IO board has specific specs, you can't call something a 6.0 MiSTer IO board and go off specs. That's what those chinese knockoff manufacturers did, it's disingenuous at best, blatant scamming at worse.

      Missing a header isn’t an altered spec... if the design is wrong that’s different. SNAC is the bastard child of the project. Are there other issues?

      SNAC is the only child that works with original lightguns, so missing that header will make that board incompatible for anyone who wants to do that.

      In the end the seller should have had those pins populated. It’s right of him to warn others of that seller if the seller isn’t willing to take responsibility 🤷🏻‍♂️

      But you also have to buy a decent soldering iron, solder, flux, hope you are going to do a decent job .... it’s more than just a 5 cent part, but no the I/o board is not broken or damaged due to this but still a BIG hassle for someone without the proper tools or know how

          You know I just noticed $31.68 for the I/o .... you know sometimes you do get what you pay for 😂 joking aside I populated my I/o myself, and for the amount of time it took me to build it and the cost of buying one fully populated @ $31.68 are they even making any money?

          'are they even making any money?' to get at this you have to dive into Chinese mass manufacturing a bit. Their costs to manufacture are WAAAAAAAAY less than many other places. Especially when done at volume. Keeping in mind also idle factories waste money just the same.
