Hello @Terasic_FPGA can you help us? The #MiSTerFPGA community thinks you are raising the price on DE10-nano just for them, because they need so much supply. Can you clarify? Is this normal shipping costs / economy price hike? Or just because MiSTer users go so hard? plz advise.

I had always heard the DE10-nano was a subsidized product and that the price was essentially artificially low.
Absolutely is.... Intel has heavily subsidized the DE-10 Nano to encourage students and universities to use the Cyclone platform.

like literally not at all IMHO. 3 schools and 3 semesters worth of FPGA class at various IVY league schools squashes those numbers easily. There are 10's of thousands of users at best, and that is a stretch.pic.twitter.com/YukpatLgAe

I don't want to give them any ideas, but I think the next generation of MiSTer could cost a lot more and still attract a big audience if the cores were quickly ported. Especially with mature accessories, cases etc.
