Please don't bother pirating my cores in beta phase, they will all be public in due time. Until then, please either contribute to the project or step aside. We are working around the clock to get this done ASAP.

Some may think that, I agree. But, open source projects need funding for the parts that developers won’t do out of self motivation. The easiest example is maintenance, but also finishing the details once the exciting research phase is over, etc
Anyone saying open source shouldn’t or objectively can’t make money is flat out wrong. The only thing $$$ does is make it more egregious when you take something sans attribution, and don’t honor the social contracts that come with GPL for example.
