I don’t think anyone will give a fuck in 30-40 years. Most people that do are 30-50 years old now. So we will all be dead. If anyone does give a shit who knows what tech they will be running games on.

Fail? Where? Replaced? Why? I don't really know if I understood the idea. For me it is already a success. If it reaches Ps1 and Saturn as effectively as existing Cores, so will be more extraordinary.

The verilog/hdl will still be there... easily ported to whatever FPGA-like technology exists at the time.
