This very much is a product landscape that generates money for a number of people. "official" hardware, and "official" supported cores with @Patreon subscriptions, and DE10-Nano bulk flippers. Regardless of that accountability is still a thing for some people even if not for you.
Some people have started small business around the project but the project itself is not a business. I dunno i guess we just have different points of view, I guess you got shunned by some devs or something it sure seems like you have some sort of grudge against them.
