Saying that the embedded ARM Linux part of the DE10 is not powerful enough for handling a package manager is bull****. I use GNU/Linux distributions since Debian Potato and all of them use package managers. In this case the dependences would be “inexistent” and trivial to handle.
Lol right, the IBM Thinkpad that we ran Redhat 2.0 on in the late 90s has less processing power than the DE10-Nano.

Exactly.Back in 90s/00s all the GNU/Linux distributions use a package manager, else won’t make sense and would be a nightmare to maintain even for “trivial” servers wo/ X.
