Very early prototype of #MiSTerFPGA NES core Savestates, but I'm happy to have it working like this after just 2 days, thanks to the great preperation of the core and support from Kitrinx. It will still take a while to be completed.pic.twitter.com/1J2EToKsRb
Let’s pretend you care anyway... the landscape puts money directly in your pocket. Why should you care if they comply with GPL as long as you get @Patreon money, am I wrong?pic.twitter.com/5HBB5TjbA1

Hey, what did I do to make you so angry? All my cores and work is fully opensource and available for free. Is that not enough? What else should I do? If you know a more open and free FPGA platform for my cores, please tell me.

Who’s angry? A very pointed response doesn’t equal anger my man.

As a software engineer, I take licensing very seriously and this is the first I've heard of gpl issues in MiSTer. If there are legitimate issues, they need to be rectified, especially if people are making money off of it.

he gets my money because his work deserves it. it gives me far more enjoyment than a few bucks a month. i wish i had more for him

That is a secondary point, I never said his work wasn’t good. I asked why he’d care when the landscape puts money in his pocket? Nice attempt at side stepping though none the less.
