But actually on this topic, I see it having no more, or less, value that the system it is recreating. For some it could even be more valuable as they can just plug it in and have it working, as well without going through mods to get that HDMI.
My argument was "The DE10-Nano is a product that is required to use the MiSTer"... is false, you can indeed change pinconfigs, and make the "framework" function under the hood. In this case they are all Cyclone V boards. Aka reference designs for big boys.

I was saying that specifically within the context of a conversation where you are calling the MiSTer FPGA project specifically "a product" (like analogue products). The MiSsy96 or whatever big brain calls it now isn't the same as the mister project. It's a fork.
