#MiSTerFPGA isn't a product. You might buy products related to the MiSTer project from third party independent sellers, but MiSTer itself isn't a product like an Analogue device. It's still okay to compare the two but it's an important distinction to consider.

actually im starting to see what you mean. Then it made me think how you can buy preconfigured, fully assembled MiSTer units. So yeah, MiSTer is a product at this point, even if the creators/devs dont intend for it to be.

@MiSTerAddons manufactured SDRAM addon board is a product by@MiSTerAddons. That doesn't mean the MiSTer FPGA's gerber files and schematics are the product.
