I have been asking the same thing for months. Seems technically possible... no idea why it hasn’t been done. Could pretty much do an entire MiSTer JVS setup with no additional boards or custom hardware... maybe just an adapter for the JVS power input.
Soooo why the hell doesn’t MiSTEr have hooks in Input.cpp to handle rs485 (Jvs) via USB serial adapter. Simply poll for inputs on /dev/ttyUSB0. Seems to trivial for #Sorgelig to add, or someone to include in a fork.pic.twitter.com/MEoGzLcTpf
