Dear God, the amount of hassle this one tweet caused. Gaming is for everyone. It’s as simple as that. The stereotype of a gamer doesn’t apply (hence my point) at all. The gaming community is supposed to be about friendship & fun. GG for proving it’s actually not.
So many people that don’t game think this community is toxic. And now I see why. Gaming is for everyone. Choosing to be part of this ‘community’ might not be for everyone; like I originally thought.
After this experience I don’t think I’ll be calling myself a gamer with the same pride and sense of being part of something that I used to. Some of you wondered why I tweeted this? The reactions I got prove why this ‘community’ has a very long way to go.

Should have seen the fallout at my parents house one Xmas. My dad plays lawn bowls and is good at 10pin. Well I got my parents a Wii for Xmas and we fired up Wii bowling, well didn't my mother who has never played computer games not just thrash my dad. He was not happy.
He was thinking too much about it. Probably about how it feels nothing like real bowling, so he won't win because of it.

I'm in an active crusade not to let the lizard people wearing the skinsuits of our politicans to NOT play video games. Video games are, after all, just simulations the lizard people have orcestrated to keep us from seeing the seams in their skin suits.
