***56 days*** after I put in an order for 1000Mb fibre to the home with @eir, a technician finally shows up… TO INSTALL A FUCKING TELEPHONE LINE! Still no date for the fibre install. You cannot make this shit up. There’s incompetence, damned incompetence, and Eir. 🔥🤬🔥

Dear @eir, instead of tone policing, how about profusely and publicly apologising and actually installing the fibre connection I signed up for 56 days ago? (I do appreciate the Twitter support person’s help – he was the reason we were able to move things forward around Day 40.)pic.twitter.com/Lo7LsioxTx

Xmas 2016- my line went down. Called iiNet : "can you tell me when it'll be fixed?" "1st week in February" They were true to their word. 1st week in February, I got a letter to tell me when my line would be fixed.

Maybe Ireland wasn’t the best choice? I know there’s heaps of problems in Sweden, but internet isn’t one of them.

On the other hand, we got our personal number equivalents, insurance, etc., within a month and feel far more at home here :) Eir’s been the biggest headache – worse than any government bureaucracy we’ve had to deal with so far. And that’s saying something!

I can fully understand that. I did the number bullshit by the books the way they wanted me to, and it still took almost 6 bloody months... People may speak good English but hardly any services offer Swedish language in their apps or sites making it difficult to integrate.

Lol. In NZ it took 5 days for unlimited fibre, but 6 guys in the garden(Health&Safety reg's) digging a "trench", busting a water pipe and 6 hours later. Service provider got ripped off big time with the guys monkeying around

Wow. I can literally see the fiber on the pole 30 ft from my back door. They cold call our house multiple times per week to install. Hubby: will our bill increase? Then no.
