To the hospital this morning for the results of my post-operative blood test. If my PSA level is close to zero, I’m likely to be free from prostate cancer. If not, the cancer is likely to have metastasised elsewhere in my body.

If I don’t tweet again until late afternoon, it’s probably bad news, as they will have held me back for further tests and procedures. But please don’t worry. I will face whatever comes without fear.

It's good news. My PSA level is <0.01. This means I have roughly a 90% chance of being free from prostate cancer for the next five years, and higher thereafter. That's as good as it gets.
