You’re doing some great journalism but The Guardian helps perpetuate surveillance capitalism by using tracking and profiling-based adtech. Please get them to stop this and I will be happy to support them financially. Maybe we need a campaign: pledges for privacy?https://twitter.com/ameliagentleman/status/986929918931021829 …

I'm sure
@NoDPI can offer other links but for now try: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phorm#Advertisers_and_websites …http://www.itpro.co.uk/181578/the-guardian-does-phorm-u-turn … -
The original source is this; https://www.theguardian.com/media/2008/feb/14/bt.virginmedia … "OIX monitors every website that a customer visits and sends this data back to a central advertising hub. Phorm is already working with ad agencies and partner websites, including the Financial Times, the Guardian..."

If you want more documents, I have a substantial archive. Since F'fox scrapped Scrapbook Plus its a little harder to access but I've got most of the relevant stuff (UK & global) 2008 till Phorm went bust last year. Including the censored Ask Jack Guardian article 8 Jan 2009.
