I disagree with the premise and phrasing of the question. Even with the question, as phrased, if people understood that the business models are the same, you would see a more uniform distribution. All this graph shows is that the focus in on Facebook.

Two companies can have the same business model but demonstrate through their actions that they deserve different levels of trust. Also: Most of the bad stuff F is currently taking heat for, took place at a time when they thought their business model was to be a platform company.

The web 2.0 was developed before the web 3.0, so, it had to use centralized servers and similar things. With new consensus algorithms and "network-state" technology, the web will gradually rely less on that.
