What about Neuralink? I'm not afraid of the tech itself, I think it's awesome and the logical next step, but companies mining data from my brain sounds kinda ..... iffy?

Plus, you could open source the software to provide "algorithmic transparency" (interesting term), but then you'd still have to trust the 'trusted' environments within the hardware. Consider time, location, speed, direction, state of buttons (including pedals), mass distribution in the vehicle, maybe some pictures of passengers and road. The rest of the data is pre-processed inside the car, not enough bandwidth
