And then it comes the post-real problem that the socialism isn't any better (in Bulgaria we lived it enough), and no other alternative comes real on the horizon.

The alternative isn’t some historic socialism: it must include (a) regulating corporations (b) investing in the commons for the common good (c) decentralisation. Call it what you want; I don’t identify with beret-wearing “comrade this, comrade that” socialism either.
