Let’s have 2018 be the year we eradicate the word “consumer.” It defines people solely as objects to consume and useless when they can’t.

Hmmm. Appreciate the sentiment but not sure I can replace “consumer” in privacy with others suggested. You may only be a customer when buying but we need to protect your privacy even when you just enter and browse. And need to distinguish from LE or nat’l security. WDY suggest?
