You are engaging in highly abusive behaviours. The way Steve was speaking to me was way out of line (as countless others pointed out to me) and a full-blown display of privilege & deleting the private data of an at-risk activist without notice is a complete abuse of power.

What you have demonstrated today is that you are not fit to administrate the data of any individual - which ironically given your own architectural model you shouldn't be able to do anyway. Having God-mode user administration nullifies entire premise of zero-knowledge servers.

As I stated, this won’t be the case for the actual software. This exclusively pertains to your involvement in its development.

Hey folks, don’t know the details of the issue (& sadly don’t have time to contribute) but some general points: a. If it’s not decentralised/federated & FOSS, it’s not fit for purpose. b. If it is, run your own instance, make your own rules. That’s why (a) is crucial. …

1. I’m personally *very* uncomfortable with Julian’s anti-feminist comments and collusion with Trump’s team and with the cult of personality I’m seeing in some quarters of our community where even raising those concerns is reason for ostracism and being branded “uncomradely”…

Heard. But I'm concerned that his health (which is visibly declining as per his last appearance) will finally give out & we'll still be debating his personal politics/personality. Re ostracism, I haven't seen ostracism for NOT supporting him but plenty ostracised FOR supporting
