I liked the free exhibition about 1956 revolution at the Parliament, close by is the ‘shoes at the danube monument’, for food nearby I recommend Veggie Raw at Garibaldi utca. The views from the citadel are beautiful. The museum od applied arts. Terror Haza.

For food I suggest Bistro Fine, adrassy ave. They have surprisingly good desserts in Budapest. Don't miss the Esterházy torte at the cafe of the Opera, also in adrassy ave.

Thanks :)

Riding the old metro to/from Hösök Tere. The park on Margaret’s Island is quite big and hosts a small Japanese Garden, the Music Fountain (see it after dark when it plays) and good opportunities for running and fitness. Szécheny Thermal Bath and Vajdahuyad castle nearby.
