We do need new policy (&, crucially, to fund, incentivise, and favour ethical decentralised alternatives) but we can and should pursue regulation and antitrust as well. Evans is a VC/Silicon Valley shill, merely trying to stave off regulation as per usual.

Well yes, that was kind of my point. Actually breaking up core functionalities is hard to do though, so we do need new regulatory models to do that effectively. Beyond that, comparing power of FB to Yahoo seriously misguided/insincere, but it's an AEI blog.
