I use decentralised to mean what
@dsearls calls “distributed” in his famous diagrams. i.e., no centres, not many centres4 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
If there are centres (eg. the client/server architecture of the web), then those centres can be economically incentivised to grow/coalesce.
