DiEM25ers (women & men) could not be clearer on this: We are feminists fighting all discrimination/exploitation while celebrating difference

I hear you. But this is not the message we present by having Julian Assange on the Advisory Panel given his views and comments on feminism.
-
I’m done with them. They don’t have a diverse base b/c they don’t prioritise diverse needs. Excusing him because “diversity” is ludicrous.
-
I know (& support) that’s why you didn’t want to be involved to begin with. What’s sad is they’re spot on otherwise. But can’t ignore this…

-
No, you can’t. Also, Yanis gives it the “women and men” as if a) another man speaking for women helps b) gender is binary.
-
He is absolutely right to speak on behalf of members of all genders in DiEM25, because he is paraphrasing DiEM25's statutes and manifesto.
-
So to put the manifesto into action, will DiEM be publicly distancing itself from Julian Assange and his stance/words on feminism?
-
They won’t, because the person replying to you RTs him uncritically.
