Definitely. That’s why must Regulate And Replace. Regulate the abuses of Google, FB, etc. + fund & encourage decentralised, free/open alts.
It really angers me that not many people know about these things. Or they do. They just don’t realise how bad it is. We need to warn them

It’s gross isn’t it! I also dislike immensely how they keep changing the goal posts. It’s a job in itself trying to keep up!
And we can’t keep up. For one thing, we don’t know what they’re doing with the data. There’s no algorithmic transparency.
