We deliberately bought the non-connected version to avoid exactly this.

I don't need one online. I just want to schedule from an app when it should clean and maybe tell me when it needs emptying.

But that’s the issue. As soon as you get an app involved, these corps see it as an opportunity to grab data. Ours is scheduled from the bot.

So for convenience I pay twice. One with money and once again with my personal data. Lovely.
