The assumption being that some mythical “we” doesn’t. I can’t speak for the “we” but my criticism of religion is a broad church :)

Again, my conversation over the years has been and is broad.
Yet I’m never asked to broaden the conversation when I criticise Christianity, only Islam.
That’s because Christianity is not the thing being picked on.
I feel enough of us are picking on it. But not sure “picking on” is the right term as that’s something you do to the weak, not the strong.
You understand there are differences in context. When we’re in Africa surrounded by angry Muslims, I’ll talk about not picking on Christians
