It may remove some third party cookies but won't solve the problem. Not even close as cookies are no longer the preferred mean of tracking

I’m curious why you think it’ll only remove “some third-party cookies?” Is there a loophole in your view?

(A lot of sites have started bundling core functionality with third-party tracking to sabotage their own sites if the tracking is blocked.)
