Do you think the tech sector is different from other sectors like say, pharma, retail or media in this regard?

-
It is to the degree that it’s newer and people are not critically literate of it yet. We’re where we were with film when it first came out…
-
It sounds like you're saying people in tech have higher ethical standards than people in other sectors, not sure that's what you meant?
-
Sorry, I must have not been articulate; not at all. Google, Facebook, etc., are factory farms for human beings. Nothing ethical there.
-
CSR is making inroads in most sectors because investors, consumers and employees demand it. I don't think the tech sector is unique.
-
I’m not talking about public relations (CSR). I’m talking about their core business model being unethical. But you’re right, tech sector…
-
Ah acronyms - by CSR I was referring to Corporate Social Responsibility.
-
I know :) Also known as PR.

Hadn’t seen the acronym “GAFAM” before – is Apple predatory bad? I thought they were pretty good on this stuff?
-
Apple isn’t perfect but they have a very different business model to Google & Facebook. The acronym isn’t great. https://ar.al/notes/apple-vs-google-on-privacy-a-tale-of-absolute-competitive-advantage …

Thanks for the clarification!
