        Good point that the Web works fine for Google. But is ”stolen“ the right term? Didn’t we cede it to them moving onto their platforms?

        people are choosing "surveillance capitalism" each time they select a free service vs a pay one. Nothing is "stolen".

        "monopoly of a biz model" and lots of people do "people farming". Seems like you can't decide if it's a monopoly or not.

        If platforms overreach than market generates competition. Think: Microsoft. It's what makes capitalism awesome.
