But don’t just leave it to me: if you see Google reps at conferences, ask them what they think of their business model & if they’re ashamed.

And more conferences should ask themselves if they’re comfortable with how Google makes money via surveillance before inviting them to speak

And if you do invite surveillance capitalists to speak at your conferences, challenge them. Ask them the difficult questions.

(Unless, of course, your conference *is* a surveillance capitalism PR fest, as many of the largest ones are.)
