          Same thing with Amazon Alexa (soon to be in Ford vehicles, too). Even so, the less you give them the better.

          Will do so completely once I move off Android later this year. Use OSMdroid for maps, owncloud for storage, calendar, contacts...

          Use a privacy-aware email provider w/ my own domain for mail, DuckDuckGo for search. Block Google analytics/tagmanager.

          do you have any photo / video storage recommends? I use Nextcloud, but worry if my home server goes down I lose it all....

          Pretty much Google free personally since DDG was added to iOS Safari search options. Chrome installed but use very limited.

          Work uses Gmail and Gcal and bit of GDocs 🙁. I use GSearch about once a month if DDG doesn't find what I want (helps 30% of time)
