I keep wondering why the web is suddenly shit and realising that I’m the Apple News app so @betterbyindie isn’t cleaning it up.
Yeah, so, Apple, a little hypocritical, don’t you think, to not allow content blockers to work in News App? +@pschiller @tim_cookhttps://twitter.com/aral/status/790865525475799040 …

Using an adblocker in Safari hurts publishers. Ability to use an adblocker in News app would hurt Apple, duh.
-
* hurts the behavioural tracking industry
-

having to launch each story into Safari to enjoy tracking protection is a real disservice to usability

I noticed Better won’t work (install) on this iPad 4. Shame as it’s great on my iPhone 6S. No chance for the iPad?
-
unfortunately, content blockers require a 64-bit processor, which the iPad 4 doesn't have

Thanks got the info - pity because it’s still going strong (if slightly weightily)
-
Hey Stuart, sorry for the slow reply. Unfortunately, what
@Smutchings said. -
Thanks - it’s a pity but on the plus side it’s working really well on my 6S plus
