I respect your views on this, but I think it can be OK to enjoy a free product before it's ruined. No account needed, logo off.
We did with Facebook and Google after all, that hasn’t had any ramifications.
Many people have quit Google/Facebook already in response, but if you use Prisma with eyes open, just quit if it goes bad?
Yes, but once these things get network effects leaving is inconsequential. Cannot quit all mainstream tech, must change it.
look, I agree, but Prisma as it stands demands no login, shows 1 ad, and lets me disable their watermark. Not nearly as bad as most.
Though it is always harder to sell an iOS app. Even indie devs (like me) make their app free and try to get some traction first..
Indeed. But indie devs don’t have VC. With apologies to Andrew Lloyd Webber, VC changes everything.
as always, if it's free, *you* are the product
*we are the products*, kraftwerk would sing today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXa9tXcMhXQ …
why make money when you can have your app bought by facebook ? :p
Will be sold soon. Just like MSQRD before. Same ppl.
@ikarius like "Mascarade": try to get noticed by Facebook and then sell it ? :)
Was this a rethorical q? :)
