would take a couple of weeks to investigate. Treated my like I was lying/had buyer's remorse. My bank was able to reverse the charges.

I never heard back from PayPal's investigation. (Maybe due to the reversal of charges, but still...)

I Cancelled my Paypal the minute they required my visa (long time ago) because that defeated the whole purpose of Paypal for me.

nearly ten years ago I used PayPal as web checkout for something cue ~200k of frozen cash. A mistake I made exactly once.

@rosyna PayPal having access to your bank account isn't the problem, it's that they get access to received money before the bank does. -
(if the concern is funds freezes - understood if there are other concerns)
