“Encryption” isn’t enough. All encryption gives you varying levels of security but doesn’t imply privacy (only end-to-end encryption does).

Only scenarios where encryption = privacy: * Service is hosted by third party & e2e encrypted * Service is p2p & encrypted in transit.
