This is spam & possibly identity theft. I am *not* on LinkedIn & you’re making it seem that I am.pic.twitter.com/uSdr6EJOfE

@brunoscheele @iwasleeg Doesn’t that cover anyone who implements/uses “upload your address book to find friends?” Which jurisdiction?
@brunoscheele @aral @iwasleeg "Upload your addressbook" is illegal under EU privacy law. You can't consent to use of my contact info. ^AE
@ictrecht Illegal but enforced? It’s basically a norm for social network clients. Do you know of any enforcement? +@brunoscheele @iwasleeg
@brunoscheele @aral @ictrecht @iwasleeg right, doesn't it fall under "aiding and abetting" criminal activity to encourage users to use it?
@aral oh, share-alike would be important, in case you writing my phone number from my card into your contacts app is a derived work :)
@aral yeah, I sortof mean that friends, f-of-f get it and businesses don't. It's maybe more permissive than I intend but shows my meaning :)
