          @NS_online I paid the “small amount” & got off to change for Schiphol train in Utrecht as I originally planned. Very silly system; pls fix.

          @aral There is no such thing as a tourist tax. It is an allowance for using an international train. Did you eventually get off or 1/2

          @NS_online (It’s a “tourist tax” as your signage does not make it clear you cannot use the train with a ticket valid for the destination.)
