Very uneasy about this Apple/IBM partnership on health data. If all HealthKit data is automatically shared with IBM that’s unacceptable.

@aral so it does specifically say “opt in” - and even then “de-identify” -
@phil_nash I want to know if not opting in means you don’t get to use HealthKit. De-identification implies IBM initially gets your identity. -
@aral from what I’ve read before opting in is about sharing the data off device. You can still use HK on device. ResearchKit required opt-in

@aral I have a feeling this means IBM is making apps that support HealthKit and ResearchKit. Not that Apple is sending all data to IBM. -
