@catlan Frak! I don’t want to run a local web sever for those files since, as mentioned in that article, it’s less secure. *sigh* -
@aral I know … fill radar and hope for iOS 9. -
@catlan Or, in my case 10.11 or whatnot :) -
@aral or going back to WebView? Don't think the performance improvement is that important on the mac. -
@catlan Will see… maybe I can lock the server down. -
@aral I never got around to try WKWebView loadHTMLString: baseURL:, I assume baseURL falls under the same sandbox restriction?

@aral more info: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24882834/wkwebview-not-working-in-ios-8-beta-4 … i went with GCDWebServer. -
@plo (I’m already using an embedded Node process so using that.) :)

@aral probably to do with security defaults but also as of IOS7 NSURLProtocol was not supported by WKWebView so no custom URI schemesThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@aral ie you want to give the app permission, not the user. Give the file an uri and you're good.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
