@aral that hides among his civilians, and using their houses as munition storage (violating Geneva conventions, the "international law")

@aral diplomacy doesn't work - the other side doesn't acknowledge you EXIST, let along willing to talk to you. Again, what would you do?

@aral you were vocal against Erdogan, plenty of Israelis are vocal against their government. But we are under attack. The threat is REAL.

@aral no mention of the 900,000 Jews that were kicked out of the Muslim countries at the same time. I didn't expect anything less from BBC

@hmemcpy Again, an eye for an eye… where does it stop? Both sides claiming God is on their side. We don’t change that, nothing will change.

@aral Hamas, the defacto government of Gaza (and part of unity government with the Fatah) is a political entity, as such, it has a charter.

@aral you should read Hamas charter sometimes. If it doesn't make your skin crawl, you'll never understand what this conflict is about.

@aral just because we have more advanced offensive and defensive weaponry, doesn't make this any easier for us. This is not a game, no score

@hmemcpy You are shooting ducks in a barrel. A barrel that your government constructed around the ducks and which it controls.

@aral again, that's not true. Gaza has a border with Egypt. It's currently closed.

@aral when Israel left Gaza in 2005 we left behind multi-million dollar agriculture infrastructure as a gesture of good will. It was looted.

@aral you make peace with your enemies. For this to happen, the enemy has to at least acknowledge you exist (and you have a right to)
