        @aral does Apple spy on users in the same way Google does? If no, then Apple is nice paid alternative to Google’s free ecosystem.

        @aral even if there are…it is hard to get critical mass. And people will go/use where the big group of others is. It is rooted psychology

        @aral Y don't those alternatives exist yet? I think data should be anonymously available to research but users should have 'data bunkers' :)
