No matter how much rationalising Apple do about it, the iPhone 5 family are not one-handed devices & that’s an ergonomic step backwards. #xd

@aral Agree, I wish the iPhone 5s was the same height as a 4s. I much prefer a one-handed device.

@aral But I have really, absurdly long thumbs. It's weird. ;)

@aral I'm a lefty, so it's already awkward for me to use my phone. Upgrading to the longer 5S made those ergonomic issues way more apparent.

@aral Sadly, I’m inclined to agree. I find a few controls just out of reach without moving my hand. :-(

@aral Couldn't agree more I have unusually small hands & have no chance of my right thumb reaching the top left, even top right is a stretch

@aral Re not one handed devices: I agree but I have an anatomical design flaw. My thumb is significantly shorter than my index finger.

@aral I can perfectly handle it one-handed. But I have big hands. I’ve seen lots of people struggling with it.

@aral I’ve never really had to resort to using it two handed. I have pretty small hands too (I’m 5′9″) I occasionally have to stretch a bit!
