@JustinList Yeah, I’m not talking about that: I mean Dutch sometimes sounds like English but the phrases I hear are, of course, nonsensical. -

@aral although Dutch people do borrow a lot of English terms, we actually don't say "peek a boo" but "kiekeboe" (which does sound similar). -

@aral like peek-a-boo, it is a very odd thing to say though, unless you are talking to a toddler. What sort of conversations are you having?
