Once TC processed what happened, they immediately stopped the presentations (about a minute or two later) and made their first apology

@aral Then, following all the presentations, the editors of TC & moderators again profusely voiced their disgust and apologized on stage. -
Also heard from a VERY reputable source: another hack team was planning on presenting a 'porn discovery' app....
